Paddington Bear to Hit Big Screen

The lovable, marmalade-eating storybook bear, Paddington, will be heading to the big screen in his CGI live-action adaptation, according to Variety. The film is being described as a “modern take” on the character that has stolen the hearts of millions since his stories by Michael Bond were first published in 1958. Producer David Heyman (“Harry Potter”) told Variety, “Michael Bond’s books offer such wit and wonder, and I am so delighted at this chance to bring Paddington to the big screen.”
