The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) recently announced the shortlist for its Stirling Prize—the institute’s top accolade for the UK’s best building project.

The RIBA Stirling Prize jury selected projects from the institute’s longlist of 2025 regional and national award winners. Its website states the Stirling Prize judging criteria includes “design vision; innovation and originality; capacity to stimulate, engage and delight occupants and visitors; accessibility and sustainability; how fit the building is for its purpose and the level of client satisfaction.”
