An Old Church Became a Family’s Dream Home. Now It’s for Sale for $3.45 Million.
An old church became a beloved home filled with music, a hot tub and a heated garage.
The oldest surviving church building in White Bear Lake had long been home to the Lakeshore Players until the community theater group relocated a few years ago. In 2018, it was slated for demolition by a developer. Kelly Clement and Steve Bucher, both avid musicians outside of their day jobs, turned the 7,800-square-foot property into their dream home, complete with a performance space for jam sessions.
