It’s been 50 years since country singer Vince Gill left his home state of Oklahoma and chased a dream that ultimately led him to Nashville. He’s got one of country music’s most distinctive voices—a buttery smooth style that has helped him garner hits like “Don’t Let Our Love Start Slipping Away” and “I Still Believe in You.” Though he’s known for his career as a solo artist, he’s also been a dependable band member over the years for groups like Pure Prairie League and The Eagles.

To commemorate an impressive career full of music that speaks to the hearts of country fans, Gill is spearheading an ambitious recording project—he’s releasing one EP a month for an entire year.
