The Austin City Limits 2010 Music Festival’s star-studded lineup was released on Tuesday, featuring a plethora of talented music groups along with legendary artists like the Eagles. Tickets for this Oct. 8-10 event are going fast, with three-day access packages already sold out.
The ACL 2010 lineup includes long-time industry giants like the Eagles, Phish, and Muse along with other big acts like the Strokes, Flaming Lips, and M.I.A. The show is loaded with three days of music that are expected to attract music fans from all over the country.
Other notable groups include the influential Sonic Youth as well as Slightly Stoopid, Vampire Weekend, Blues Traveler, and Pete Yorn.
The event is scheduled for Ziller Park in Austin, Texas west of downtown off of Barton Springs Road.
The Austin City Limits 2010 festival is also using some its money for a good cause. The event website states, “Every ticket purchased to the Festival directly benefits Austin Parks Foundation, and helps improve parks throughout Austin.” The remaining income will go to talent and event coordinators.
