Rough night last night?

By the looks of it, this disheveled fur ball of a bear woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Meet Chada, a 24-year-old Himalayan brown bear who got off on the wrong foot in life, but has since bounced back and then some.

Chada was once a neglected circus bear in the Ukrainian national circus before being sold to a private traveling carnival. Unfortunately, she later spent seven years living in a rusty cage in an industrial zone in the suburbs of Kyiv.

This was before she was rescued and brought to White Rock Bear Shelter where she has spent the last four years or so living in blissful comfort.

“After years in the circus, she has very poor eyesight and almost no teeth,” the shelter writes on its website.

The sanctuary recently posted some unbearably cute footage of Chada waking up from slumber and crawling out of her burrow in the sanctuary in Kyiv. Apparently not much of a morning bear, Chada requires a few extra moments to shake off the Zs.

“This is me starting the work #week. Good morning,” the sanctuary posted on social media. “We’re all like Chada on Monday.”

The brown bear has since gone viral, racking up over 23 million views, due to her disheveled yet endearing appearance.

She is then seen moseying on her way to get doing whatever makes her happy to pass the day; she enjoys the simple things in life now and can be seen in other clips having a splash in the water with a ball or wrestling with a particularly testy twig.

“Chada had a hard life but remained a fighter,” the sanctuary stated. “And she became the star of our bear family because of her character and thirst for life.”
