PASADENA, Calif.—The Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company’s final performance at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Sunday, Jan. 4. enthralled the audience.

Mr. Thomas, an actor, singer, dancer, and model, was moved by what he saw and heard. Expressing his feelings about the show he said, “It’s very colorful, very moving. It’s very entertaining: the aesthetics, the movement of the dancers, the singing. I think this is a kind of all-in-one entertainment show. It has everything. It has the dancing, singing, and acting. So this is right up my alley; this is something I would love to do.”

Mr. Thomas had been to the VIP function where he listened to some of the performers speaking about their experiences and training. As a professional actor, Mr. Thomas appreciated the performances and felt a connection between the performers and the audience. He said: “They were mentioning about their training early on, about how they focus on the feeling inside and the spiritual aspect. I can definitely relate to that because if you’re not feeling the connection with the audience, or what I would call the divine creator, you’re not going to emote that emotion and feeling back out to the audience, and then they’re not going to pick up anything you’re doing.”

When asked whether he felt a connection with the DPA performers, Mr. Thomas said: “I definitely do. I definitely do, and that’s what keeping me. I don’t want to sound bitter or anything, but a lot of theater shows that I attend I kind of fall asleep, but not this one, because this one is entertaining. I think it’s well worth every dollar.”
