A frustrated passenger’s recording of the insanely long security line at the Chicago Midway airport recently has gone viral.
The clip, which has been viewed more than 1.2 million times in about 24 hours, was posted by YouTube user Sean H.
He titled the video: “TSA are you [expletive] kidding me?”
ABC 7 reported that the line took about an hour to get through, but users on social media said it actually took around two hours for some of them to get through.
The queues were finally reduced to normal times by about 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, the broadcaster said.

The TSA, or Transportation Security Administration, apparently warned recently that there would be longer waits than normal across the United States as air travel peaks this summer.
“We are probably not at the staffing level we would like to be to address the volume,” Gary Rasicot, the TSA chief of operations, told the New York Times.
“This is why we are talking about people getting to the airport a little earlier than planned.”
Along with lower staffing levels, tighter budgets, new checkpoint procedures, and the increasing number of passengers were cited as reasons for the growing delays.
Similar lines have been reported in Philadelphia, Denver, and other cities.
