Adjunct Professor Finds Shen Yun Absolutely Gorgeous
Keith Weber, a software engineer at Duke City Software and an adjunct professor at the University of New Mexico in the Computer Science Department, enjoyed the Shen Yun performance at the Popejoy Hall in Albuquerque, N.M., on March 6, 2018. (Yuli Li/The Epoch Times)

“I think it’s wonderful. I do kung fu, I do wushu, and so seeing the Chinese dance is a lot of fun.”

“I think [the spiritual aspect] is very good, especially the piece about Falun Dafa. I had no idea about that, but it makes a lot of sense, and reading the program with how Shen Yun can’t perform in China, it was sad. At the same time it’s very interesting that we can see it here but Chinese people can’t.”

“People should be able to experience all of their culture, and to be limited from your own past, your own culture is a very great shame that needs to be fixed.”

“Absolutely [felt a connection]. Watching this has been tremendous. Today, especially in Western society, we’re so focused on material goods and possessions and everything else, that we really need to be reminded every once in a while of the spiritual aspects of life.”

“I’m inspired [by the performance] to make sure that I understand and experience all that life has to offer.”

“The dancing is beautiful. Watching the techniques, ... I would love to do what they do.”

“Watching the performance has been wonderful. Their jumps, their flips have all been very clean. Their movements are very crisp, and it’s a lot of fun to watch.”

“It’s absolutely gorgeous. I’m loving it.”
