There are certainly several perks in running away from colder climate and experiencing how it would be live to be somewhere warmer. Christmas is certainly flip flop/jandals weather here and it is perfect for spending evenings with a cold beer in hand. Here are some of the coolest stops when you are in for a Kiwi Christmas.

Located at the tip of South Island, this happens to be a really good stop for those who are interested in trying out the wine in New Zealand. As the country is known to be one of the world’s best producers of wine, you will surely love the thought of exploring the vineyards and seeing it for yourself. Sauvignon Blanc is among the most famous wines that come from the country. If you have not found a nice area to spend the holidays, why not spend it here? There are so many stops to explore and you will find a lot of awesome restaurants along the way.

Kaikoura Bay

Since Christmas is during the Kiwi summer, you do not have enough excuses not to wear your swimming outfit. This peninsula is perfect for those who are interested in having quick access to the city while reaping all the benefits of enjoying the nearby views of the sea. The place looks just like a hand with the middle finger pointing to Auckland which is the closest metropolis. Cruising along the coastal roads is certainly an experience that you should not miss while you are in the vicinity. As old stories will tell us, this was supposed to be the area where the first humans landed on New Zealand, so it is also quite historical. From the remote tip, you can have a sweeping view of the ocean.

Hikers would also fall in love with this place as there is much to see and appreciate.

New Zealand happens to be a wonder by itself.
