Vhong Navarro’s girlfriend Tanya Winona hasn’t publicly addressed either of the rape complaints against her boyfriend.
Navarro was first accused of trying to rape model Deniece Cornejo on January 22, a claim that appears to have been disproven by CCTV footage and other evidence.
However, another woman has now come forward to file another complaint against Navarro, claiming that he tried raping her in 2010.
Winona notably doesn’t appear in public much with Navarro because, he has said, he doesn’t want her under the public eye since she’s not in the show business like he is. For instance, in his very public Instagram and Twitter accounts, Winona is nowhere to be seen.
Navarro did say in one interview with ABS-CBN from his hospital bed when he was still recovering from the Cornejo-Cedric Lee beating that his girlfriend of five years has stood by him privately.
“She did not abandon me,” he said.
Winona also believed the whole time that he did not try to rape Cornejo, Navarro said.
Navarro later admitted that he had wronged Winona by becoming involved with Cornejo. In documents Navarro submitted to the police in the Cornejo case, Navarro said that they engaged in sexual activities in a previous date.
“I have done nothing wrong to Deniece, only to my girlfriend,” he said.
