Video footage taken last week appears to show an apparent UFO flying into the Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico.
The UFO, which appears as a floating bright light, flies around the Popocatepetl before it makes a sharp turn inside the volcano’s top, reported the Huffington Post.
“I am leaning toward the object being a captured commercial jet passing through the field of view,” Marc Dantonio, the head photo and video analyst of the Mutual UFO Network, told the Post.
He added, “Several elements of this video are initially startling, firstly that the object appears to be moving fast, and secondly, that it appears to be descending into the volcano.”
The sighting comes days after an apparent UFO was photographed over a historic barn outside of San Diego, California.
The Popocatepetl volcano, located around 40 miles southeast of Mexico City, erupted on May 8, shooting plumes of ash 2 miles into the air, reported the Global Post.
