As the summer heats up, it is extremely important to have cool and nourishing beverages on hand. It is vital to stay hydrated while ensuring you provide your body with the appropriate vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients.  Here is a great juice recipe that will do all that.

Purpose

The purpose of this juice recipe is to provide you with a cool, refreshing, and nutritious drink that will not only hydrate you during the hot summer months, but also replenish lost nutrients and restore energy that can be lost in the summer heat.

Equipment Required

  • Good quality juicer

Ingredients

  • 1/4 small lemon, peeled
  • 1-2 inch piece of ginger (to taste)
  • 12 leaves of spinach
  • 6 stalks of celery
  • 1-2 green apples (red are fine as well)

Directions

  • Put all ingredients through the juicer in the order they are presented.

Consumption

  • Enjoy during any time of the day.
