Following a Trump social media post, Jack Smith has requested a restriction against the former president sharing case details with the public.

The legal analyst has laid a case for DOJ special counsel Jack Smith to get indicted using the same terms he has used to charge former President Donald Trump.

John Lauro, attorney for former President Donald Trump, said that the First Amendment is “under assault.”

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz announced Tuesday that he would introduce a bill to the House of Representatives “to defund” Special Counsel Jack Smith’s grand jury investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot and efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election.
