Kristin Chenoweth, a singer and actress, is expected to perform a special closing number with host Seth MacFarlane, singer, pianist, animator, and director, at The Oscars.
MacFarlane’s musical career has landed him performances at London’s Royal Albert Hall and New York’s Carnegie Hall, as well as two Emmy awards. He won one Emmy for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance (2000) and one for Outstanding Music and Lyrics (2002), shared with “Family Guy” composer Walter Murphy.
MacFarlane, The Oscars hosts for 2013, started getting a paycheck for his animations when he was only 9-years-old.
Seth MacFarlane told the Oscars that his all-time favorite movies are “The Sound of Music,” “Defending Your Life,” and “ From Justin to Kelly,” in that order.
