Shen Yun Performing Arts’ presentation of China’s ancient culture and values is what drew Eric Cunningham and his 7-year-old daughter, Maya, to come to see the show at Montréal’s Place des Arts on Jan. 8.
“I believe the Shen Yun performance is a living painting.”
That is how Richard Dorais, a classical painter, described the Shen Yun Performing Arts show he attended at Place des Arts in Montreal on Jan. 9.
Songwriter Guy Desnoyers and his sister Lucette Desnoyers, a former dancer, had the good fortune of sitting in the third row, close to the orchestra pit, at the Shen Yun Performing Arts show at Place des Arts on Wednesday night.
Having seen Shen Yun perform at Place des Arts in Montréal on Monday night, teacher turned student Monique Parent said the show left her with a feeling of striving to become better.
