Dr. Yoshiaki Omura, when treating trachoma (a type of conjunctivitis), herpes simplex, and chronic fatigue, found these diseases would recur in a few months.

Further research in the mid ‘90s revealed the microorganisms for these diseases would hide in organs polluted with heavy metals, such as mercury, lead, and aluminum. In some way the heavy metals protected the viruses from the medications, which ordinarily would have wiped them out.

By a fortunate synchronicity, Dr. Omura found mercury in the urine of a patient who had just had Vietnamese soup loaded with cilantro leaves or coriander, as it is also called. Using cilantro with antiviral medicines and/or omega 3s, the above infections could be eliminated permanently.

Also on the Website below are recipes for cilantro pesto that is said to aid in chelating heavy metals when taken for about two weeks, but is also good for just eating on toast or pasta.
