A candlelight vigil in honor of the late Philip Seymour Hoffman was held on Wednesday night. Hoffman was a company member and former artistic director of the New York City Labyrinth Theater Company.
The vigil took place in the courtyard of the Bank Street Theater at 155 Bank Street. The prayer was lead by Labyrinth Company member Fr. Jim Martin.
Further plans for a memorial ceremony to honor Hoffman will be announced later.
