A teenager in the Bronx was arrested late Saturday night for pointing a gun at police officer. The incident came just hours after two police officers were shot and killed in Brooklyn, but it is an unrelated event.

The 17-year-old, Raymond Leonardo is facing felony charges of criminal possession of a weapon, menacing police officers, and reckless endangerment.

Two housing authority police officers and two police officers from the 40th precinct arrived after a transmission on the department radio of gunshots in the area. There were no shots fired at any officers and no injuries occurred.
