BOSTON—Shen Yun Performing Arts, the world’s premier classical Chinese dance and music company, will return to Boston this weekend, starting Friday, Feb. 28, for four performances at the Citi Wang Theatre as part of its 2014 World Tour.

Officials from Massachusetts and Rhode Island expressed their greetings and appreciation to the premier classical Chinese dance and music company, Shen Yun Performing Arts.

Mayor Joseph C. O'Brien has welcomed New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts to Worcester, Mass., by issuing a proclamation declaring Feb. 10, 2011, Shen Yun Day.

Governor Donald Carcieri issued an official greeting to Shen Yun Performing Arts “on the occasion of their appearance in Providence, Rhode Island, as part of their 2010 World Tour.”

Two months after record-breaking spring floods in New England, residents are still applying for assistance in the seven Massachusetts counties designated as federal disaster areas.

Mid-winter is the best time to see eagles, especially around Amesbury, Salisbury, and Newburyport.

This is the first year that Shen Yun is visiting Worcester on its world tour.

Shen Yun Performing Arts will be appearing for two shows at Worcester’s Hanover Theatre on Feb. 6 and 7 as part of its 2010 World Tour.
