[xtypo_dropcap]E[/xtypo_dropcap]ight militants were killed in a drone attack in Northwest Pakistan on Monday. Some are believed to have been of German nationality, according to Pakistani officials.

The men are believed by Pakistani intelligence officials to be members of the group Jihad Islami. There has been no independent verification of the attacks and casualties.

The German government says it has evidence that there are at least 70 Germans who have received training by militants in Afghanistan and Pakistan, according to The Associated Press. A third of them is believed to have gone back to Germany.

The United States, Britain, Japan, and Sweden have issued travel warnings to Europe over a possible terrorist attack.

The U.S. has carried out 26 strikes using unmanned aircraft in Pakistan over the last month.
