Ontario Woman Faces Terrorism Charges for Alleged Attempt to Join ISIS

An Ontario woman is facing two counts of terrorism charges, including attempting to join ISIS, after she was arrested by the RCMP on Wednesday following a lengthy investigation.

Haleema Mustafa, 22, from Markham, has been charged with “participation in activities of a terrorist group and leaving Canada to participate in activities of a terrorist group,” the RCMP said in a press release.
