The wife of John Chapman, the U.S. airman who engaged in a battle with al-Qaeda forces in Afghanistan and received a Medal of Honor from President Donald Trump, has spoken out.
“I’m as proud as can be,” Valerie Nessel told People magazine. “It’s very humbling that he is finally being recognized for what he did.”
