Frank Gregorio, who designs educational videos to introduce many topics to students, created this introduction to galaxies.

He asks in the video: “As the sun sets in the evening above our islands of light, so many of us are unaware of the magic of the night. But what if we could turn out the lights?”

It’s amazing to think of how our ancestors viewed the celestial wonders.

Gregorio takes us back to a time when true darkness was normal, and then beyond the Earthly view and into space to contemplate our place in the universe.
