The movement to renounce, withdraw from, or quit the CCP, called ‘tuidang’ in Chinese, began in late 2004, soon after The Epoch Times published the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, an editorial series that explores the nature and history of the CCP. Statement to Quit the CCP and Its Affiliates
For half a century, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has created calamities for mankind, especially the Chinese race. It promotes deception, wickedness, and violence. It is against heaven, earth, and mankind. It is about to come to an end. For the benefit of our future generations and for the great renaissance of our nation, we are determined to quit the CCP and its affiliates. We welcome the new China where the CCP does not exist.

Declaration to Quit the Demonic Organization
The CCP is a political party that depends on the military, is an autocracy, and lies to stay in power. It cares nothing about the needs of the people and insists on monopolizing profits and class struggle.
Its members take turns at ruling the country and deceiving the people. To force people to accept its deceptions, the CCP uses hard-earned money from the people to powder its face and beautify its image.
The People have gotten used to a party that always lies because they have no choice. The party doesn’t need to do what the people want—it only needs to brainwash people.
People in China are so miserable; they are better off dead than alive. No one even believes in the CCP anymore. We cannot tolerate this demon continuing to kill our future generations.

Statement to Quit the CCP
I was a senior in college when I joined the CCP. I graduated from college 11 years ago and became part of society. I feel more and more strongly that the education the CCP created for us was a big lie. This party is the major obstacle to our country’s development. I feel that socialism and communism are tools the CCP used to deceive the people. Its real purpose is to make profits for itself. I formally declare that I do not believe in communism and hereby quit the CCP.

Solemn Declaration
I am Liao Hu. I joined the Young Pioneers and the Communist Youth League when I was young. I formally joined the CCP in 1974. I did not understand the CCP’s evil nature—deception, wickedness, and violence—and believed that it was as good as it claimed: great, glorious, and correct.
I awakened when I realized that the CCP has committed numerous atrocities since coming to power. The CCP’s frequent political movements have caused many unnatural deaths and destroyed many families.
The Big Leap Forward and the People’s Commune starved countless people. The Cultural Revolution, a ten-year catastrophe, ruined China. The June 4th massacre [The Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 4, 1989] killed so many students who asked for freedom. Since July 20, 1999, the CCP framed Falun Gong and launched an evil persecution. As a result, numerous practitioners died, became disabled, are imprisoned or locked in slave camps. Many practitioners were forced to leave home and become destitute. Their families are also in trouble. The persecution is still ongoing.
Brutality after brutality has made me understand that the CCP is the most ferocious, cunning, shameless cult.
The CCP has done too much evil and angered heaven and earth. It is bound to be punished. For good people, being a part of the CCP is a humiliation. Quitting the CCP is the way to stay happy, blessed, and safe. I solemnly declare that I will quit the CCP and its affiliates and end every tie I had with these organizations.

Statement to Quit the CCP and Its Affiliates
When I was young, I really believed the CCP’s propaganda and became a member, which in retrospect was my misfortune. Now, through everything I have experienced and witnessed, I have seen the CCP’s corruption and evilness. I also believe that good will be rewarded and bad will be punished. I am determined to stay away from it. I solemnly declare to quit the CCP and its affiliates, including the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers.
