The Veronica Mars movie is official after a Kickstarter campaign and has a release date of March 14, 2014--and the trailer has just come out.
The Kickstarter campaign raised over $5.7 million, way above the original $2 million goal.
So what are the spoilers in the movie? Veronica Mars (Kristen Bell) learns about her former beau’s legal troubles (he’s been accused of murdering his girlfriend), so she sets out to find out what happened, because she believes Logan Echolls (Jason Dohring) is innocent.
From the trailer, it looks like Mars and Echolls are still attracted to each other.
Mars is also seen in the trailer punching Madison (Amanda Noret). And she is dating Piz (Chris Lowell).
Many of the cast from the television series will return at Neptune High School’s 10 year reunion. The rest of the cast includes James Franco, Krysten Ritter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Tina Majorino, and Sam Huntington, among others.
