Construction will begin from Sept. 23, on Sonoma’s citywide slurry seal project, a street surface treatment project, city officials said.
The project aims to keep the city’s streets safe and functional for multiple modes of transportation.
Last month, the City Council awarded the project to VSS International in the amount of $186,120.
Money for the project will come from Senate Bill 1, local sales tax Measure M and the city’s general fund.
