Super Smash Bros 4 news and rumors continue flying ahead of the release date for WiiU and later this year. A new character has been added to the game.
Game designer Masahiro Sakurai recently revealed on Miiverse, a Nintendo forum, that King Dedede from the Kirby series will be joining the game. The official introduction to King Dedede has been posted on the Super Smash Bros website as well.
Dedede is equipped with a long-handled barrel that can turn into some sort of rocket, pictures of him in action show.
Ashley from the WarioWare series has also been rumored to be included in the game, though it hasn’t been confirmed.
News about assist trophies is also coming out.
They’ve been described as “the Pokéballs of the non-Pokémon franchise.
The trophies bring out a character from another game series.
Saria from the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was recently confirmed on Miiverse as one of the assist trophies.
