Shen Yun Shows That Moral Strength Overpowers the World’s Evil

“I loved the show! It’s really beautiful. The costumes are beautiful. We were marveling at how light the dancers are on their feet. They hardly make any noise at all when they land, even after they’ve jumped high in the air. The soprano was supreme. She’s such a tiny lady but she has a lot of power in her voice. I’m really enjoying it, very much so.”

“It seems like in every story, good overcomes evil somehow. The strength of people’s values and morality outshine any of the bad things in the world. That’s what I’m getting out of it.”

“The [dance] where the baby is separated from its mother, because I’m a mother, touched me a lot, and it makes me sad a little bit to think about how there are lots of people in the world who don’t have the freedom I have to express themselves and to be artistic and as a result they are suffering for it and I don’t feel like there’s anything I can do to help them except maybe to carry on their traditions by coming to this show.”
