Shen Yun dancers have one of the most comprehensive training systems in the world that teach basic skills and also require strict postures and physical expressions. The dancers also perform aerial and tumbling techniques that make for a theatrical experience.
For the Wuellens, the dancers were “beautiful,” “amazing,” “definitely athletic.”
Along with the beauty of the dancing, the Wuellens were taken with the beauty of the costumes.
“The colors were just spectacular,” she said, referring to the colors of the handmade costumes, spanning dynasties and ethnicities.
“But the colors! The colors were so fantastic,” Mr. Wuellen later echoed his wife’s comment.
Would the Wuellen’s recommend the show to their friends?
“They need to see it,” said Mr. Wuellen.
“They have to see it! You really can’t describe it,” Ms. Frewen-Wuellen said.
“You’ve got to be here to see. The production was fantastic,” Mr. Wuellen said.
