“The color is dazzling; it takes my breath away sometimes.”

“I am always looking for color. I loved the when they first came out with those long streamer like figures; I loved that. It was really inspiring for me, and just the way the dancers are working with each other. Looking at the figures and how they arranged themselves in space, that’s always interesting to me.”

“This [particular dance] story is very parallel to the Christians being persecuted in a lot of ways and we are seeing that parallel. My wife and I are both Christians, so we see that and there is empathy. In some ways it makes me want to say, ”I’ve got to go there.” So it is inspiring.

“We have missionaries that go to China on a regular basis and are training pastors but they are doing it a lot of times at the risk of their life.”

“People need to be aware of those things and take a stand somewhere along the line: Just saying we need to protect each other. The problem is that the regimes that want to run the world get in the way, and it’s a real problem. If all people would look upon the Creator of the universe as their source of life, we would get along, no matter who we are, where we live, what language we speak.”
