“It was an excellent performance. It was colorful. It was musical. It just takes your mind. It was excellent!”

“I think that’s particularly unique. It just wasn’t focused on one person and their technique, it was everyone together.”

“[Shen Yun] depicts something more divine in nature and the return to where we came from, you could say the stars or whatever, and then if you’re good you can find your way back.”

“All good, all good!”

“I don’t know the history. But, it seems it’s hard for them (the performers) to do that under that regime in China today, apparently. I don’t know the background on that—I’m glad to see that they can thrive in New York and now five separate groups touring simultaneously. I think that’s a great thing!”

“I think it just shows another way of, I wouldn’t say it’s a totally different way of looking at things, but a very unique [one], and just the grace when you look at the movement, the color, the sound, it’s all kind of a pleasant side of life, if you will.”

“Obviously, they take it seriously to do it as well as they’re doing it.”
