The Samsung Galaxy S5 will come with a eye scanner, according to a new report from Korea.

The upcoming phone will come with “QHD and iris verification tech,” reported ZDNet, and both fingerprint and eye scanners for security.

QHD resolution is 2,560 x 1,440, the same resolution as a 27-inch iMac.

Internal news cited by the Korean website says that Samsung will introduce the first QHD phone at the Mobile World Congress.

“However, it’s still questionable whether Samsung Electronics will take the ‘first QHD’ title or not,” it says. “China’s VIVO is on their way to QHD smart phone production and so is LG Electronics.”

Korea’s Patent Office knows about the eye scanning technology.

BGR, an English tech blog, says that ZDNet has in the past reported accurate details about unannounced Samsung devices in the past.

Other rumors about the Galaxy S5 include that there will be two version, one with plastic housing and one with a case made out of metal.
