The Samsung Galaxy S3’s Android update should stop the glitches that were happening.

The smartphone would sometimes freeze, lost battery quickly, or even stop working altogether.

The fixed version of the 4.3 Android operating system, known as Jelly Bean, should not do any of those things.

“We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused,” the company said, reported BBC.

The upgrade is rolling out to select users and will continue until it reaches everyone.

People were sharing frustration via Twitter and Facebook over the update problems.

“We have paid a lot of money for this phone,” wrote Tushar Dass on Facebook. “I don’t think we deserve this treatment.”
