When Samantha Power takes over Susan Rice’s position as U.S Ambassador to the United States, she will also be taking her New York City penthouse.

The 42nd floor of the Waldorf Towers on Park Avenue is the official residence of America’s representative to the U.N.

It is the apartment where several past ambassadors, such as John Bolton, President George W. Bush’s ambassador, once held diplomatic dinners to help U.S policies.

Ambassador Rice will vacate the penthouse in a few weeks. Her new job is a promotion, but it doesn’t come with an official residence, reported CBS.
