Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have had a relatively tumultuous marriage, namely due to Ozzy’s drug abuse and alcoholism. When Ozzy revealed that he had taken drugs again after having been nearly a decade sober, Sharon threatened him with divorce.
“Everybody knows he’s been struggling with this his entire life. I never knew he was using prescription drugs,” Sharon said in 2013 when she appeared on CBS daytime show, “The Talk.” “I knew he was drinking occasionally, but I didn’t realize the extent.”
Sources near the couple now say there is a chance they will reconcile their differences. “A source tells PEOPLE that it’s true that the couple have split for now but that they would not be surprised if they worked through their breakup,” according to People magazine.
Another source added that the rumors of the recent split are “sort of true.”
“He'll be back,” the source continued.
Ozzy and Sharon first met in the early 1970s when Sharon was working for her father, who was the manger of Ozzy’s band Black Sabbath.
