NEW YORK—New York City is the place where everyone wants to be. For all those people already in the city, the weekend is the time to take advantage of the city that the rest of the world seems to cherish. The Epoch Times asked New Yorkers: What is your favorite way to spend a weekend in the city?

(1) Brandon Cruz, 29, Scuba Diving Instructor, Queens
Reading a book in the park, biking in the city, barbecuing with family.

(2) Corlos Berez, 49, Jewelry Polisher, Queens
Walking around New York City, participating in fairs like book fairs, [and] attending food festivals.

(3) Ran Curry, 71, Retired, Manhattan
Sitting here, watching people, and shopping in the stores.

(4) Iris Bar-Hava, 39, Organizational Consultant, Tel-Aviv, Israel
I hardly stay here on the weekend, but if I have work during the weekend, and have to stay in New York, I would go rollerblading in Central Park, and eat good Japanese sushi.

(5) Tamar Rahmani, 40, Religious Worker in the Jewish Community, Brooklyn
I enjoy seeing the Empire state Building, and also going to the swimming pool, but shopping is the last thing I want to do. Sometimes I like to take cruises along the city. I love the city.
