Shots were fired inside Phineas Davis Elementary School in York, Pennsylvania on Thursday afternoon.

No one was injured and the suspect was arrested.

The handcuffed man said to a witness while he was being led to the police cruiser, reported York Dispatch: “I did it for my daughter. You thought I was crazy. I am crazy -- for my daughter.”

The man may be the father who made threats to staff members on Wednesday while at the school.

Students were moved to Goode Elementary School for after-school activities.

“Everybody is fine,” school police officer Richard Muldrow told YDR.
