There is always a lot of negative news surrounding players in the NFL and sports in general, but yesterday Jay Glazer of Fox Sports brought us a heartwarming story.

As Glazer states in his video, he uses his program called “Touchdown Dreams” to match up players and coaches with little children who are fighting for their lives.

4-year-old Ava Urrea was one such child. Born with what was considered to be half a heart, she was flown in from Las Vegas to spend a day with the Oakland Raiders.

However, Glazer states that notably one player went above and beyond.

That player was Raiders offensive tackle Menelik Watson, who donated his entire game check to the Urrea family.

According to Pro Football Talk, Watson’s game check is about $36,944, 1/17th of his annual salary of $622,948.
