UPDATE: Trains are running again

The 7 line isn’t running in New York City between Grand Central and Queensboro Plaza on Friday night.

A train with a mechanical problem has forced the closure, the MTA said in an alert.

Additionally, trains are running local from Queensboro Plaza to Flushing – Main St.

Trains from Flushing bound for Times Square are running with delays.

“Allow additional travel time,” it said.
