Le Fooding and San Pellegrino will set up camp at Rockaway Beach 97 for beach picnics on July 11, 12, and 13.
Chefs include Christina Tosi of Momofuku Milk Bar, Andrew Field of Rockaway Taco, Ivan Orkin of Ivan Ramen, Ludo Lefebvre of Trois Mec (in Los Angeles), and Enrique Olvera (Cosme). Think grapefruit popsicles or cereal milk pudding popsicles, cornmeal crostini sops, and summer chilled lemon shio dashi ramen, for example.
Tickets are $40 each; for more information, see www.legrandfooding.com. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to Graybeards, a charity involved in the Sandy reconstruction effort.
