John David Duggar and Joseph Duggar are two of the oldest Duggar children but both are still single. Fans of the family want to know if they have any girls on their radar and, if so, are planning to start courting one soon.
John David, 24, and his twin Jana are the oldest Duggar children who aren’t married--their older brother Josh, 26, was married to about six years ago.
John David has joked before about marriage, laughing when he was asked by TLC producers earlier this year when asked if there are any ladies in his life. “No ladies in my life yet, at least not so as anyone can know,” he said, before growing serious and adding,“No … there’s absolutely no ladies in my life right now.”
Now John David was asked again and revealed that he’s actually received applications from numerous women after he told the crowd at Jill’s wedding rehearsal that he was taking applications for a future spouse.
“It was a joke. But I hear that we started receiving applications like crazy. I don’t know how many have come in and I haven’t looked at any, but I hear there are a lot,” he told People magazine.
“Everybody is giving me advice about getting married,” he added. “It isn’t a bad thing. I’m open to advice.”
Joseph, 19, is the fourth-oldest Duggar child who isn’t married, behind John David, Jana, and Jinger.
He said that he’s been watching his siblings court and get married and wants to go through the same process.
