The iPhone 7 rumors have been coming out for a while but a new batch brings some potential features to light, including waterproofing and wireless charging.

The release date for the iPhone 7 has been pegged by many as fall 2015, with most sources indicating September as the most likely month of release.

Now CNet has calculated the chances of potential features being implemented in the new phone.

Wireless charging can be carried out on iPhones, but require a separate charging case. But the Apple Watch, which is also pegged for release this year, will have a magnetic inductive charger, so the iPhone 7 very well could have the same thing. The chances of implementation are 25 percent.

Many users would also appreciate a waterproof iPhone. The Samsung Galaxy S5 provides a template, lasting up to 30 minutes when submerged a meter below the surface of water.

“Of course, all the ports have to be sealed off properly and the plastic back clipped securely in place. But since the iPhone has no removable back panel, the ports should be the only things that need to be sealed off,” CNet, which pegs the chances of implementation at 15 percent, says.

A much higher percentage--90 percent--is attached to a faster processor and improved 3D graphics. This aligns with several rumors, including one that listed a “naked eye 3D screen“ as a strong possibility for the iPhone 7.

Other potential features include a shatterproof screen, a bigger screen in the same body, improved battery life, and a better camera.
