The following information is an excerpt from an anonymous person’s recent letter to Minghui.org. The writer is from mainland China and probably a Falun Gong practitioner in Daqing city.

When I was illegally detained in the Daqing Longfeng Detention Center, a head criminal (who is now in Daqing Prison) told me many details about police harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for commercial use. At that time I thought they were trying to frighten me, so I did not take it seriously. However, when I look back, I now believe what they told me then was certainly not groundless rumor. Here is some information that I can still recall: 1. In the Longfeng Detention Center, police harvested two Falun Gong practitioners’ organs when they were tortured to their last gasp. Then they buried the bodies near the chimney (somewhere close to the wall) in the yard of the detention center. These two Falun Gong practitioners refused to give up their beliefs when they were alive. Nobody knew their names. It is said that their bodies were dug up shortly after, then thrown into the furnace and burned.

2. When Falun Gong practitioners were beaten to death in the Longfeng Detention Center, it was not necessary to report it and this did not figure into the death quota offered by the CCP’s legal system. During the peak period of the persecution of Falun Gong, no one took Falun Gong practitioners’ deaths seriously. If no family member of the dead practitioners asked [after them], the dead body would be thrown into the furnace and burned. If the family members tried to investigate, the police would cajole and threaten them or, at most, give them some money. Usually the case would be closed without a conclusion.

3. Falun Gong practitioners who refused to give up their beliefs would be sent to the northwest part of China where new prisons were being built especially for Falun Gong practitioners. Those places are desolate and uninhabited. It is impossible to get out of there once you are in, no matter whether you give up your belief or not.

4. If someone’s organs were chosen to be harvested for commercial use, the person would not be killed by one shot. The police would shoot the person half dead and move him onto a vehicle specially equipped in advance, then cut his body and take his organs while he was still alive. Sometimes the prisoner could not endure the extreme pain and would beg the doctor to kill him faster...
