Grey’s Anatomy returns from a long break on Wednesday night, and spoilers have been coming out about what will happen next.
Let’s check the most recent ones out:
-Jo is incredibly busy. “When the show returns it picks up right where episode 12 left off so Alex and Jo find out that obviously his dad is in extremely bad shape and she is trying to be a supportive girlfriend ad there for him and she’s also trying to be a supportive friend to Stephanie who has been publicly humiliated,” Camilla Luddington told E! Online.
-Jo is also dealing with Alex’s marriage proposal, which leads to an explosive fight. “It causes for some drama that could definitely erupt their relationship,” Luddington said.
-For episode 13, the next one, we know that Meredith is upset with Derek, and that Alex attacks Shane, likely over the treatment of Alex’s dad, and possibly related to Cristina being with Shane.
-Jo is also mad, shattering a mirror, likely over Alex’s dad.
-Later this season, Derek is working with patients in a BMI office, possibly a Brain Mapping Institute. He operates on a risky patient who has a crush on him, and also sees another who has a pair of kitchen shears sticking out of his head.
-The BMI office could be the new potentially permanent set that involves a major plot point, and impacts Derek and Meredith.
-Also later in the season, in one of the spring episodes, Stephanie and Jo discover a baby in a box by the dumpsters in the back of the hospital. “And so we find this dumpster baby, which, of course, is very difficult for Jo because she has abandonment issues. And she is not on the case, and she really wants to be working on it,” Camilla Luddington said.
