NEW YORK—The city’s biggest fashion event, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, launched on Wednesday at Lincoln Center and New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was there to cut the ribbon.
After his team won the Super Bowl Sunday night, Cruz signed a contract with IMG Worldwide. Other notable guests at the event included Stephanie Winston-Wolkoff, director of Fashion at Lincoln Center; Peter Levy, senior vice president and managing director of IMG Fashion, and swimsuit supermodel Kate Upton.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week will begin with shows from BCBGMAXAZRIA, Richard Chai, and Tadashi Shoji.
