George Zimmerman, the embattled former Florida neighborhood watch volunteer, is selling original artwork on eBay, beginning with a painting of an American flag.

Under the moniker “therealgeorgez,” the listing is for an American flag that has the words “God, One Nation, with Liberty and Justice For All.”

The listing is up to $810, with four days left for bidding.

The painting is signed.

According to the description:

“First hand painted artwork by me, George Zimmerman. Everyone has been asking what I have been doing with myself. I found a creative, way to express myself, my emotions and the symbols that represent my experiences. My art work allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors :-) I hope you enjoy owning this piece as much as I enjoyed creating it. Your friend, George Zimmerman.”

Robert Zimmerman Jr., Zimmerman’s brother, confirmed to News13 that the painting is indeed by George.

George Zimmerman killed an unarmed black youth as a neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida in early 2012. After a lengthy trial, he was acquitted of wrongdoing. Zimmerman claimed he killed the teenager, Trayvon Martin, in self-defense.

He has gotten into trouble after the case, including getting pulled over three times and getting into domestic disputes with both his wife and girlfriend.

After the latest dispute with his girlfriend, he was thrown in jail, but was recently released after she declined to press charges against him.
