A power outage on September 19 forced George Mason University to cancel classes and delay offices from being opened.

The school said that the power outage is impacting a range of buildings, including the Aquatic and Fitness Center, the Finley Building, and the Music and Theater Building at the Fairfax, Virginia campus.

Offices are closed until at least noon and classes are cancelled.

However, Johnson Center, Southside Dining Hall, Starbucks, and Einstein’s Bagel in University Hall are open for dining, according to the university. Also, the Johnson Center is open. La Pat, Burger King and Express General Store are currently open as well.

Regional campuses are still open and running as scheduled.
