Jobs Waiting, a 5-week job readiness boot camp, will be coming to Orange County Oct. 11. The program is a federally funded initiative that seeks to train people who need help finding employment. The workshop will teach skills for the healthcare industry, give mentoring, confidence, and personal career coaching for things like clinical positions, becoming a health technologist, technician, or medical billing and coding specialist. At the end of the training, Jobs Waiting participants are either placed in a job, a paid work tryout, or may receive tuition subsidies for further training at local educational institutions or approved training providers.

The training is free, but individuals must be unemployed for over 26 weeks to attend. The workshops will take place at the Orange Works One Stop Career Center, 33 Fulton St. in Middletown, Monday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. This interested can visit jobswaiting.com to register. Jobs Waiting can also be reached by phone at 914-948-4144.
