Edson, Alberta responds warmly to The Art of Zhen Shan Ren International Exhibit.
A unique and beautiful collection of paintings was on display at Montreal’s Galerie Lozeau during a five-day exhibition this past week. The Art of Zhen Shan Ren (Truth, Compassion, Tolerance) International Exhibition, which has been travelling the world since 2004, recently wrapped up exhibits in several Canadian cities. Its next stop will be in Edson, Alberta, November 1-8.
The Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren (Truth, Compassion, Tolerance) International Exhibition opened at Toronto City Hall on July 21 with a warm welcome from city officials.
The thought-provoking collection of works that comprise the Zhen, Shan, Ren art exhibition will be on display at Ottawa City Hall April 14 – 19.
Unique blend of Renaissance realism, Chinese legends, and contemporary Chinese history has astonished, delighted, and moved thousands around the world since its first tour in 2006.
The content of the Exhibition is becoming increasingly known and more approachable as the cracks in the Great Firewall of China get bigger.
“The visual challenges are, for a lot of people, particularly difficult where there are depictions of death, dying, and, of course, the disturbing organ harvesting, which is heart-wrenching for all.”
Contemporary oil paintings in the traditional style, many depicting the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, are on display at the Waldorf Astoria, until 10 p.m. Monday.
The paintings were seen by an average of 200 viewers each day in the July and August exhibitions in Leeds and London.
Councillors felt sorrow, hope, and determination to uphold human rights at a private viewing of The Art of Zhen Shan Ren International Exhibition now open to the public at La Galleria on Pall Mall.
